Upstairs Hall
Because the new coffee table is much bigger than the old one, we moved this console table upstairs under the bookshelves.
New Coffee Table
We finally retired my thrift store coffee table I found 10 years ago. It was falling apart. We got this beauty which is made of mango wood and metal. Kinda industrial looking. We love how huge it is for kiddo crafting and general laying things on it. On the shelf I put 2 vintage suitcases that will store toys. Love!

Eno River Walk
The weather was beautiful today so we took a little stroll on the Eno. Of course, Adeline b-lined right for the river. She is insane!

Pizza Toro
We decided to head out downtown this evening and enjoy the new city we live in. There is a new pizza place and I have heard great things. We started with the kale salad-amazing! Both ladies gobbled it up (making their RD mama proud). Jess and Larry joined us in this hip spot. It was great to be out and about. The city felt rockin' and there were lots of families out with their babes. After dinner we walked around a bit and Lilia danced to a cool street performer.

Demolition Baby
Adeline took a massive tumble yesterday and busted her lip inside and out. Tons of blood. She now has a little scab mustache. But, she is back to climbing and running with objects.

New Raised Beds
There used to be 4 giant bushed (2 on each side) of our porch in front of the house. There were hideous and blocked our view of the front yard. We cut two down and quickly realized it would take Sami 5 years to chop away at the huge 20 year old roots. So we had to call in the tree dudes to grind the stumps and remove the remaining bushes. This weekend we are working on building up pretty beds with a flagstone border and more manageable flowers. Of course, we have a little helper.
