About a month ago I re-painted the hall bathroom. (I actually still may re-do the blue and choose a more turquoise color) The new shower curtain and rug have arrived and I love how they look. Lots of fun patterns. Now, I just need a new mirror and we will be done!

I did some dishes during snack time and came back to find these little creations by Bean. The whole-wheat crackers broken into pieces with hummus and a blueberry on top. She is a genius! (duh)


ps-she has pink eye (not a lazy eye) in case you noticed a little droop on her right eye. We are still waiting for the $80 drops to take effect.

We got these woolen pants 2 years ago when I was 6 months preggo in Finland. Bean is finally big enough to sport them. I want to bite her juicy little thigh in these cuties.

Girls Night Out-Woot Woot

Saturday night was my first entire night away from Bean. I went out with Lala, Jess, and Charlotte in Durham and spent the night. We had a blast, got a little tipsy, and I missed my baby terribly.

New Duvet Cover

We just got our new duvet cover! I have been on a search for many months. This is actually the second one I have tried (first one from West Elm got returned...too blue). I love the black trim. It matches the furniture in the bedroom.

Stokke Highchair

Bean has pretty much outgrown her booster seat. Mostly because the tray is so small and does not fit her plates. And it does not allow her to face the table. Since visiting England and using Sami's old Tripp Trapp chair, I have had my eye on Craig's list in search of one. I finally found one in the right color and for the right price. I love that it is adjustable and can grow with the baby into childhood and that she can now join us at the table. Unfortunately, our table is a little too tall and has a low piece that prevents her from being fully pushed in. We will have to think of some solutions.

Since Bean is "velcro" baby, it is very difficult to cook without her attached to my leg. So, I created this ribbon collage on the stool. The plan is, when cooking, to ask her to play with the ribbons. Fingers crossed.
